Fort Dix: Nearby Forest Fire Doesn't Threaten Base (WCBS-TV New York)

A slow-moving forest fire has burned about 3,200 acres at Fort Dix but is not threatening any buildings on the base. Fort Dix spokeswoman Carolee Nisbet said the fire has remained in a remote firing range area on the Ocean County side of the sprawling military reservation in the middle of New Jersey.
